Your cover doesn't have to look like in the video. You're free to make any kind of cover you like. In this video, I'm making a messy cover with minimal supplies, but it's such an easy and fun technique to do.

Supplies I'm using:

An A5 art journal

Acrylic paint: white, black, and red

Gesso (optional)

A wet wipe + a stencil for the numbers

Paintbrush

Old gift card

You don't need to use gesso if you don't have it. Instead, use acrylic paint. Also, if you don't have a stencil, you can use markers or paint to write things down.
